It is the time of the first
harvest and the time to honour Lugh of the Long Arm, the Many
Gifted. Our champion has fought for the tribe to secure the
harvest each year. Let us behold and honour him for his
commitment and valour.
Lugh claims this day as his own
and reminds us that nothing in life is free. Every
action-every deed is reciprocal by nature and born of balance.
What does this mean to us on a personal level? The products of
the year’s work and intention begin to step into the light-or
do they? What do you need to do to bring your yearlong
intentions to life?
As the harvest begins it’s time to
reflect upon reaping the benefits of the field, the forage and
our own souls. What is the cost for such bounty?
What if you have to fight for it?
Will you? |
